When I received this one and started flipping through I was disenchanted. The mainstream Christian view (Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran and Arminian) that humans possess some degree of free will seems more logical and Biblical.
On a more mundane point, I agree with earlier reviewers that the multiple appendices were ill-fitted for this text and needlessly added to an already lengthy book. This book is so very informative. A run in with a deer starts things off on a bad note, but not all is lost, traditions and a birthday cake make help wrap up this heartwarming tale.. These any self respecting Callas fan could tell you would be your first choices.
When it comes to Wagner's Ring or Mozart's Don Giovanni which one does he recommend? Virtually all of them. In 1981, her sexual orientation was not in vogue to be talked about. Jacqueline du Pré will live on, through her music and Easton's fine biography, in the hearts of those who appreciate fine classical music..
