Some of the early stuff was also boring, but when the book gets to the NFL years I really enjoyed hearing about what goes on in the locker room, at the hotels, and during practices. If you train your subconscious brain to look for things you want, the RAS will start to look for items to support it.

Whitelock does an excellent job giving insight into her world and outlook, and is particularly revealing about the European politics that shape her life and role in England.
