This book taught me a lot about children with EBD conditions in the education system. not for beginners like me. The discretionary valuation models employed by the likes of Skilling and Lay at Enron and Ebbers at WorldCom were first dreamed up by fellows like "Sunshine Charley" Mitchell who was hired by the ancestor corporation of CitiGroup to set up its bond-selling operation in 1916. It is highly readable, at once informative and entertaining. He must have been one tough character and difficult to deal with but he got the jobs done. As in his travel books, the account displays Fermor's characteristic goodwill and enthusiasm towards nearly everyone he meets, but as a story of action, dispenses with his characteristic erudition and asides.
