Randa Lee Roberts was born in Tallahassee, Florida and grew up in Monticello, Florida living briefly in bothMaryland and California as a young child.She attended Leon High School while dual-enrolled at Florida StateUniversity. After graduating from highschool, she attended Tallahassee Community College from which sheearned her AA. She then attended theUniversity of Florida earning her MA in Early Childhood Education with a BA inElementary Education. After her firstyear of teaching, she returned to Florida State University and received aSpecialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy followed by TheUniversity of West Georgia obtaining a Specialist Degree in EducationalLeadership as well. She and her youngest son, currently live in Georgia while her oldest son serves in theUnited States Navy in Charleston, SouthCarolina.
