I devoured this one in a day. Published in 2002 this is the second installment it what is envisioned to be a four-volume series also including; The Doctrine of the Knowledge of God, The Doctrine of the Christian Life, and a forthcoming volume The Doctrine of the Word of God.
I am familiar with Frame through RTS (some of his courses are still available thru itunes u), and some of his other writing. Not to mention the Vestals. Well written with lots of twists especially of a bitter woman who wants to ruin both of them. This book was my introduction to this series, and overall it has whetted my appetite for more.
