Robert Hughes was born in Australia in 1938. Beginning in 1970 he lived and worked in the United States, where until 2001 he was chief art critic for Time. His books include The Shock of the New, The Fatal Shore, Nothing If Not Critical, Barcelona, Goya, and Things I Didn't Know. He was the recipient of numerous awards and prizes for his work. Hughes died in 2012.

Even though she is clearly well-versed in many healing traditions, I never felt like she was talking down to me. I've been listening to the audio version of this book for the past week. The perfect book for everyone.. Clear proofs and the languages used are much more accessible to non-mathematic majors. Also, the author writes how he dealt with journalists, and I've found it interesting.
The book not presents a case study of a company innovation but describes the history of IBM in nineties. These roles are what explain our later behavior, and in order to come to terms with the present behavior, you have to understand why you're doing it. Because she consults regularly with parents who are experiencing parental alienation, and also does research on the subject, her recommendations come battle-tested. Such a shame!.
