The Memory of All That by Katherine Weber was disappointing. So much so that it got to be boring. I think Phoebe was implied to be autistic, and it was cool to see a character with ASD portrayed positively in a genre that typically has no representation of neurodivergent people except for the occasional villain. It seems like every opinion the author had succeeded in making it into the book.
I know it is hard to remain completely non-biased in a book on economics. Killian was a 1950s Bush, down to earth and his book is movingly endowed with wisdom.. Suzanne Ramljack's essay SEDUCTIVE TACTICS : Contemporary Jewelry in the Donna Schneier Collection is as succinct and a clear analysis of this field as any I have ever read. A treasure - and a travesty that it is out of print. It was a course textbook, but it was a rather nice read. Bush served as director and grants manager of OSRD. Sadly the informative book for her protection was understood I'm being alienated from our childre
